Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a GTM MX Annex 24 Sr. Analyst.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
Job Description:Maintain a solid knowledge of laws and regulations related to Foreign Trade. Responsible for auditing Customs Compliance for legal entities that carry out Foreign Trade operations in Eaton Mexico, through the execution of internal audits, electronic audits of pedimentos, to identify potential risk, areas of opportunity, as well as the amounts of surcharges, fines and possible savings. Will be responsible for following up with each site leaders to close findings and actions.
The interested party is responsible for monitoring the results of the BOT, which obtains the opinions of fiscal compliance of national suppliers, as well as establishing continuous communication with them to provide training aimed at obtaining and sending the document. Must determine the specific plans to obtain the opinions of fiscal compliance and perform the analysis to identify high-risk suppliers.
The interested party must have knowledge of Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions, as well as the different processes and procedures for obtaining permits, automatic notices, certificates to comply with the same.
The position is also responsible for developing, implementing and administering: work instructions, processes, procedures and policies necessary for customs compliance, as well as giving continuity and developing metrics or KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operations.
A. Execute electronic audits of pedimento and keep updated profiles of each site.
B. Evaluate processes to identify areas of opportunity to reduce risks and/or costs related to the operation of import and export.
C. Provide advice and training to the company in case of any doubt in matters of Customs Compliance.
D. Present audit results to generate action plans and follow up on the closure of findings.
E. Execute internal audits of Customs Compliance based on the corresponding legal framework.
F. Analyze the database of currently active national suppliers to request the opinion of compliance. G. Be the point of contact with suppliers in Mexico that send the opinion of fiscal compliance, to give support and provide training for the correct sending of the opinion. H. Execute analysis of the results of fiscal compliance opinions to identify high-risk suppliers. I. Validate fiscal compliance opinions to approve new suppliers and block or unblock identified high-risk suppliers.
J. Keep metrics and KPIs updated to measure the effectiveness of operations. K. Maintain a clean and safe work environment that complies with all Eaton safety standards, rules to save lives and daily 5S + requirements to help build a culture of zero incidents. L. Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's philosophy and values.
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade or related field with professional title.
- At least 3 years of experience in annex 24 for an IMMEX company.
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to foreign trade, IMMEX program, PROSEC and OEA and IVA certifications.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in Commercial Management ensuring compliance in the areas of import regulations, corporate policies and best management practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas).
- Strategic planning to ensure Customs Compliance.
- Root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent analytical and communication skills, team formation and focus on internal/external client to complete various interdisciplinary projects.
