Position SummaryThe Senior Executive - DP Operations will be responsible for managing day-to-day depository operations, ensuring accurate processing of DP transactions, regulatory compliance, reconciliations, and client servicing. The role requires strong knowledge of NSDL/CDSL guidelines, depository processes, and stock broking operations to maintain smooth and compliant DP functioning.
Key Responsibilities- Execute DP operations including account opening, modification, closure, transmission, dematerialization, rematerialization, pledge, and unpledge requests.
- Process and verify client requests in compliance with NSDL/CDSL, SEBI, and internal policies.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of holdings, transactions, and depository records.
- Handle corporate action activities such as bonus, split, merger, rights issue, and dividend-related updates.
- Monitor off-market transactions and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Resolve client queries and operational issues within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and submission of operational MIS.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Compliance, Risk, RMS, Customer Service, and Technology for issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to operational controls and risk management practices.
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- NISM Certification in Depository Operations preferred.
- Additional capital market certifications will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in DP Operations within a Stock Broking, Depository Participant, Wealth Management, or Capital Market organization.
- Hands-on experience in NSDL/CDSL depository processes and client servicing.
- Strong knowledge of DP Operations and Depository Processes
- Understanding of NSDL/CDSL regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of SEBI regulations and KYC requirements
- Reconciliation and operational control expertise
- Client servicing and issue resolution
- Attention to detail and process orientation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting
