Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque's Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

• Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist, including but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience.
• One (1) year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician.
