This community hospital operates a streamlined OR program supporting a broad range of surgical specialties. The facility functions under a fully autonomous, all-CRNA practice model, providing clinicians with a high level of clinical independence and responsibility across multiple service lines. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Taos, New Mexico offers a range of cultural and outdoor attractions suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Taos Pueblo, and the broader historic district, as well as participate in walking tours, cultural experiences, and wellness activities. The area also supports outdoor recreation, including hiking to the Rio Grande River and rafting opportunities.

Clinicians in this role will provide autonomous anesthesia services during day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM at a community hospital operating room in Taos, New Mexico. The surgical case mix includes general, OB, orthopedic, and outpatient procedures. Call coverage runs from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM every third night, with call arrangements negotiable. Clinicians must be comfortable working independently and proficient in regional anesthesia techniques, including spinals, blocks, and epidurals.

Board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
