MECA Therapies is currently seeking a licensed Family Therapies to join our Roswell NM team.
The Family Therapies will provide services to include evaluation and treatment to children ages birth to three and their families. These services will be conducted within a variety of environments in home and community settings.
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and Experience:Master's degree (M.A.) in Professional Counseling and Guidance or a related field; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure from the NM Board of Counseling and Therapy Practices or NM Board of Social Work Examiners
General Requirements:- Knowledge and experience in the field of Counseling, Family Therapy or Social Work
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows
- Proficient organizational and record keeping skills.
- Effective oral and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
- Ability to train clients, family members and professionals.
- Exercise a high level of confidentiality.
The Family Therapist will operate within Local, State and Federal Regulations as well as adhere to all MECA Therapies' policies and procedures. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
The FT will be assigned a weekly caseload from the respective program directors for each program they serve by:
The FT will achieve the expected productivity set by MECA Therapies' Management.
The FT will accurately collect data for the child and families served and will ensure that the information is accurate and filed in a timely manner by adhering to the following:
The Family Therapist will provide the necessary support, training, and guidance in their provision of services to the children and families served. The FT must also comply with all mandatory trainings identified by their licensing board as well trainings mandated by their respective supervisor(s) and/or company by adhering to the following:
Licensed Family Therapists will be required to provide supervision as needed according to the NM Licensing supervision guidelines for Social Work, Family Therapy and/or Counseling.
The FT will maintain quality services for the persons served by adhering to the following:
MECA staff must adhere to all state and federal guidelines and standards as applicable, as well as MECA Therapies' policies and procedures.
