Make a meaningful impact on students lives as a School Psychologist in the Four Corners region. This contract opportunity runs through late May 2027, ideal for dedicated professionals looking to support a diverse student body in enhancing both academic and behavioral development.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments (averaging 30-40 evaluations), collaborating with educators and families, and offering consultative guidance tailored toward positive student outcomes. You'll work onsite across multiple school locations, engaging directly with students, faculty, and support staff to help students reach their full potential.

Desired qualifications:

  • Current NM PED School Psychologist License
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Demonstrated ability to perform educational and behavioral assessments
  • Willingness and ability to travel between various schools within the district
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment

Key duties and expectations:

  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations and deliver actionable reports
  • Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders on intervention strategies
  • Provide consultative services to support student learning and behavioral improvement
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and staff development
