School Psychologist in Shiprock, NM

This full-time, onsite position runs through the academic year, offering the opportunity to conduct meaningful assessments and collaborate alongside dedicated educators and administrators.

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field
• Current NM PED School Psychologist License
• Ability to travel between school sites within the district
• Previous experience conducting educational and behavioral evaluations preferred
• Strong consultative and communication skills
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting

• Provide comprehensive psycho educational assessments for students (average caseload of 30-40 evaluations)
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized intervention strategies
• Support positive academic and behavioral outcomes through data-driven recommendations
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Deliver crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students’ well-being
• Collaborate with fellow School Psychologists and support staff to ensure continuity of services district-wide
