Pharmacy Technician for this clinic-based pharmacy located in Pecos, NM. We offer an integrated approach to patient care, as the pharmacy team collaborates closely with the doctors and nurses in the healthcare center. The pharmacy team will be an integral part of the care team for each patient. So, you would have a direct hand in improving outcomes. This is a chance to make a difference in helping the under-served patient population in this community.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Provide friendly and cooperative customer service.
- Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required.
- Must be able to operate various computer systems. Ability to work effectively with co-workers as a team member.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- New Mexico Pharmacy Technician registration is required
- PTCB National Certification is preferred
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail pharmacy is required
- Excellent customer service skills
