School Psychologist in Shiprock, NM

This onsite position offers the opportunity to work district-wide, supporting educational teams and families by providing expert assessment and consultative services to improve academic and behavioral outcomes for students. Youll play a key role in conducting evaluations, collaborating with staff, and helping students reach their full potential.

• Current NM PED School Psychologist License required
• Masters degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
• Occupational experience as a School Psychologist or Diagnostician
• Willing and able to travel between schools within the district
• Strong knowledge of student assessment tools and consultative strategies
• Effective communicator with staff, students, and families
• Ability to manage a caseload with approximately 30-40 evaluations

• Conduct thorough psychological and academic assessments for students
• Collaborate with school staff to design interventions supporting student growth
• Provide consultation and recommendations based on assessment results
• Travel between multiple district schools as needed
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and federal policies
