Legacy EMS is looking for skilled and dedicated EMTs to join our team at Holloman Air Force Base! This role offers the chance to work in a crucial and high-impact environment, providing top-tier medical care to military personnel and their families. With multiple shift options available, you can find a schedule that fits your lifestyle while serving those who serve our nation.
Uniforms provided.
- Deliver emergency medical care during various situations, including trauma, injuries, and medical emergencies.
- Administer advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) procedures, including medication administration and airway management.
- Conduct patient triage and make critical decisions in high-pressure scenarios.
- Work collaboratively with military medical teams and civilian emergency responders.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
- Accurately document patient information and treatment details.
- Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay updated with medical protocols and procedures.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, security clearance process, physical, and screenings.
- Advanced medical certification preferred.
- Current EMT-B (Basic) certification from a state and national agency.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform effectively under stress and make quick, informed decisions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a military or high-risk environment is advantageous but not required.
