Job Overview

Supervises personnel assigned to areas of responsibility and schedules meal and rest breaks. Ensures tasks are performed to hotel standards and oversees daily cleanliness and upkeep performed by team members.

Key Responsibilities And Performance/Behaviors

  • Demonstrate technical skills needed for tasks.

  • Takes ownership of problems and resolves them when solutions are not readily available.
  • Requests help from others when needed to achieve goals.
  • Possesses complete knowledge of IMGR&C products and services and communicates them.
  • Provides guests with directions or venue information and responds to comments or complaints promptly, professionally, and friendly.
  • Meets expected end results and standards as outlined in SOPs and task lists.
  • Responds to obstacles and finds new ways to achieve results.
  • Acts independently and with initiative to respond to guest or internal needs when guidance is lacking.
  • Adapts quickly to change, applying talent positively.
  • Supports the achievement of quality goals, emphasizing “do it right the first time.”
  • Protects and preserves property of IMGR&C; keeps all areas, equipment, and furnishings exceptionally neat, clean, and well‑maintained.

  • Maintains behavior meeting IMGR&C standards (Mission, Values, Hospitality Behaviors, Customer Recovery Skills).

  • Meets attendance policy, informing supervisor of future absences in advance and attending all marketing special events and concerts.
  • Shares necessary information with others in time, facilitating success across shifts.
  • Listens to feedback and acts on it when possible.
  • Asks clarifying questions to understand expectations.
  • Reports all guest complaints, compliments, and maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.
  • Supports teamwork: prioritizes team success, aids teammates, resolves conflicts, assists other departments, reports ideas for improvement, and contributes to meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work by Public Space Attendants and house persons meets standards.
  • Ensure all Public Space team members complete work within scheduled time.
  • Check Public Space areas and inventory supplies; maintain contact with housekeeping for event updates.
  • Verify clean state of Public Space closets at shift end.
  • Report maintenance issues in the public or work area to executive housekeeper or assistant.
  • Assist with other duties as requested.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and casino policies.
  • Supervise Public Space Attendants and Floor Specialists.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and 6 months–1 year job‑related experience or training.
  • Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
  • Meets IMGR&C Values reflected in the letters A‑P‑A‑C‑H‑E (Accountability, Productivity, Acceptance, Communication, Hospitality, Enthusiasm). Upholds enthusiasm, positive approach, and respect for others.
Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and hold communications devices. May occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and must stand for several hours.

Work Environment

Work environment includes loud noise, exposure to second‑hand smoke, potential contact with biohazardous fluids, hostile guest interactions, and high‑stress situations.
