Job Responsibilities

Technical responsibility, architecture design, and contribution to workplace endpoint services such as:

• VDI environments/infrastructure (Citrix on-premises and Citrix Cloud)
• Enterprise print and secure print services (e.g., MyQ)
• Software scripting and deployment processes (e.g., Intune, Autopilot)
• Physical & cloud-only clients (along the entire lifecycle, Intune, Windows 11)
• Mobile device management (Intune, iOS, Android)
• Understanding and interpreting new architecture-relevant requirements (market trends, from the customer, from the provider)
• Co-creation of the digital employee experience (DEX, e.g., Nextthink)

Ensuring integration into the existing IT landscape according to company standards

Ensuring compliance with security policies and compliance requirements

(Further) development and maintenance of technical roadmaps and technology strategy for the services responsible

Close collaboration with the FMSP, product owners, and service managers to coordinate architecture decisions

Control of the FMSP in terms of technical quality and innovation capability

Evaluation and approval of FMSP improvement suggestions and their integration into request, change, and project management processes (according to ITIL)

Consultation of internal stakeholders (e.g., in IT demand management, security, infrastructure)

• In-depth expert knowledge in the mentioned technical areas and their modern architectures for environments with 15,000+ clients
• Experience in actively managing globally operating IT service providers (Full Managed Services)
• Professional experience in IT project management (Waterfall & Agile) as well as road mapping
• Sound understanding of ITIL processes & practices
• Knowledge of requirements from NIS2 and ISO
  27001
• Ability to abstract and simplify for management presentations
• Important technical knowledge:
• Citrix technologies (Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Graph On)
• VDI architecture including authentication and performance optimization
• Client monitoring tools (e.g., Next Think)
• Automation with Power Shell and DSM scripts
• Software packaging and rollout processes (Intune/Autopilot)
• Enterprise print and secure print including driver and queue management
• Hardware management for physical clients (lifecycle, imaging, security)
• Identity & Access Management, IAM (desirable)
• M365 architectures and their requirements for client architecture
• High communication skills and independent, analytical thinking and structured working methods
• Decision-making ability and assertiveness
• Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally
• Very good German and English skills in speech and writing
