Material Planner

Location: Torreon

Job Description:

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and components required to support production operations. This position coordinates material planning, inventory control, supplier follow-up, and demand requirements to ensure production continuity while optimizing inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Plan material requirements based on production demand.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.

Coordinate with suppliers to maintain on-time delivery performance.

Analyze demand trends and forecast material needs.

Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks.

Support inventory optimization initiatives.

Maintain accurate planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems.

Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supplier teams to ensure uninterrupted operations

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, supply chain, or logistics.

Advanced English proficiency.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning).Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of inventory control and demand planning.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with ERP systems.
