Museum & Library Visitor Manager

Ghost Ranch seeks a highly organized manager for a new position overseeing the operations of museums, tours, and the library, ensuring that thousands of visitors each year experience high-quality educational tours and activities. The Manager is responsible for scheduling public and private tours, managing tour guides and museum staff, coordinating school field trips, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

• Administration:
  Plan schedule and logistics for daily tour offerings, private tours, and school groups. Manage online booking system.
• Team Management:
  Train, schedule, and manage five staff plus volunteers for seasonal and year-round needs.

• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Demonstrated success managing staff and volunteers
• Strong computer skills
• Calm, steady, and solution-oriented when unexpected challenges arise

• Clear, engaging communication skills

• Experience in museums, tours, or nonprofit educational organizations
• Knowledge of Georgia O’Keeffe, modern art, local history, geology, paleontology, or related fields

This is a full-time exempt (salaried) supervisory position requiring on-site work at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM.
