District Leader, RX; Division Region District

Overview

The District Leader, Rx provides clinical and business oversight of approximately 20 retail pharmacies and an average team headcount of 200 reports. This role ensures patient safety and business success while cultivating a culture of clinical and business excellence.

• People Leadership & Development:
  Cultivate Pharmacist talent pipeline, oversee interns, new graduates, and career progression; manage district succession plans; conduct performance reviews; coach Pharmacy Managers.
• Business & Financial Planning:
  Develop and execute business plans to achieve P&L, scripts-to-budget, inventory, payroll and asset protection goals; utilize metrics to diagnose root causes and create action plans.
• Operations:
  Set and communicate district goals; engage pharmacy teams on new programs and services; resolve escalated customer issues; triage emergent market issues; ensure readiness for audits and inventories.
• Portfolio Growth:
  Provide input to real‑estate strategy; identify and support acquisitions, file buys, and new store opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or higher).
• Active Pharmacist license in all district states.
• 5+ years of pharmacy practice, preferably in retail.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve performance goals; strong interpersonal, time‑management, communication, integrity, and judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.

• Multi‑unit management experience (3+ years).
• 1+ year experience in a CVS Retail store or field role.
• Completion of the EL program.

Base salary range: $155,000 - $240,000 per year. Eligible for bonus, commission, equity award and a comprehensive benefits package.
