Produkt Platform Manager; m​/w​/d Marine & Stationary, Fuels

Job Responsibilities

Responsibility for the product and portfolio strategy as well as ensuring and expanding the long-term competitiveness and profitability of the product portfolio over the entire lifecycle

Active product and portfolio management including product launches, optimization initiatives, and phase-outs

Identification of product requirements and initiation as well as management of new developments or product updates including strategic product positioning through framework document and business case

Support and consultation of development project leaders during the product development process (including NPI)

Regular review of the market environment including competition, trends, and derivation of action recommendations

Development of decision templates and presentations for top management boards on product performance and development projects for the respective series

Regular and proactive communication with all key stakeholders including BUs and central functions

Support in the overall portfolio strategy of Rolls-Royce Power Systems

Successfully completed engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, business engineering) or comparable qualification

Several years of professional and project management experience and ideally knowledge of marine and/or stationary applications

High level of analytical and conceptual skills as well as innovative mindset and business mindset

Independent, structured working style with high result and implementation orientation

Experience in managing and leading interdisciplinary teams

Confident appearance in an international environment and with senior management

Very good English language skills in speech and writing
