Office Manager
The Santo Domingo Pueblo Early Childhood Learning Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized employee who demonstrates strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and computer skills, and the ability to develop and manage budgets. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively supervise, train, and onboard new employees with ECLC, along with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Summary of Position:
Incumbent is under the ECLC Director, who receives directions from the ECLC Director and exercises supervision over assigned professional administrative and support staff including being responsible for coordinating daily center operations, managing administrative compliance, and overseeing and managing staff corrective actions, performance reviews, coverage, procurement, and grants management. He/she will serve as the central hub connecting families, teaching and administrative staff, and work in coordination with the Director and Program Manager to ensure regulatory compliance on the strict Head Start Program Performance, USDA, Child and Adult Care Food Program, State & Federal grants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An associate's degree required; preferred in business administration, accounting, human services, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred, in business administration, accounting or human service.
- Two years of progressively responsible office or program administration and management experience.
- Extended working hours may be required, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess excellent computer skills.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and must be insured through Santo Domingo Pueblo's Liability insurance plan.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background and fingerprint check, MVR Check, Tribal background check, and drug/alcohol screening.
- Obtain and maintain throughout the tenure of employment and renew upon expiration, if applicable, Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications, food Handlers, Federal and State mandated trainings, within ninety (90) days of employment.
