Project Manager, Project & Program Management

Gaffney Mechanical are currently recruiting for a Project Manager who has success operating in a range of sectors including education, commercial and industrial. Ideally the candidate will be seeking a long-term opportunity as this is a permanent position based in our head office in Dublin.

The Project Managers must ensure that the client’s requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that the company secure repeat work with the client and maintain relationships. Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.

You must have the ability and experience in running large mechanical, plumbing and heating contracts for new build housing and commercial projects.

• Agreeing project objectives.
• management of site teams and coordination of labour
• managing project budgets and attending site meetings
• A high level of contractual communication
• Representing the client’s interest.
• Risk assessments and method statements / Health & Safety system and procedures.
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines, contacts, H&S and quality are maintained.
• Monthly forecasting, contract reviews, applications and invoicing throughout the projects.
