Position: Electrical Technician (Harness Assembly)
Location: Moriarty

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with a strong background in harness assembly to support the production and integration of electrical systems for our high‑altitude platforms. This role is hands‑on and requires precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of electrical wiring, cable harness fabrication, and aerospace‑grade standards.

Job Purpose
  • Harness Fabrication & Assembly – Build, route, and install electrical harnesses, ensuring proper terminations, crimping, and soldering according to aerospace standards.
  • Wiring & Integration – Assist in the assembly and installation of electrical components, including connectors, circuit boards, and avionics systems.
  • Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation – Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting – Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance checks, and troubleshooting to verify harness integrity.
  • Quality Control & Compliance – Ensure all work meets industry and company quality standards, adhering to safety and aerospace regulations.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support system integration and problem‑solving efforts.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical harness assembly, wiring, or related field
  • Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and connector assembly
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong understanding of cable routing, strain relief, and aerospace/automotive wiring standards
  • Hands‑on experience using tools such as wire strippers, heat shrink tubing, and torque wrenches
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
  • Experience working in aerospace, aviation, or high‑tech manufacturing
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or similar (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic R&D environment
