Metal Fabrication Facility Lead

The Kelly Group is seeking a Metal Fabrication Facility Lead for its Reserve, Louisiana
, location. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of fabrication facility experience.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

• Ability to safely operate and instruct employees on proper use of fabrication equipment including press brakes, bending rolls and punches
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality control to meet industrial standards
• Understanding of safe work practices and how to maintain a safe work environment

Other preferred qualifications sought include:

• Inventory control and compliance experience
• Basic drafting skills, including CAD
• Experience fabricating structural steel, stairs, platforms and handrail
• Ability to layout and cut sheet metal on a high-definition plasma table
• Ability to tack weld and/or final weld all fabrications utilizing SMAW, MIG and GTAW of mild steel and stainless steel
