Maintenance Helper/Welder - $22.50/HOUR A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs a Maintenance Helper/Welder with welding experience to assist in maintaining and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to support maintenance technicians in keeping operations running efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Assist with facility maintenance projects, including repairs and installations. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Respond to maintenance requests and support production needs. Qualifications Previous maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred. Welding experience required (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding preferred).
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment repair. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
