Production Manager, Operations Manager

Superior Industries is seeking a driven, strategic, and operations-minded Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will take full ownership of the facility's success by overseeing its financial performance, production output, and day-to-day operations. If you are a proactive leader who thrives on optimizing shop floor efficiency, driving financial growth, and fostering a culture of safety and precision, we want you to spearhead our team.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Manager, your core duties will include:
- P&L Management: Oversee the division's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality control processes as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and sales, to align production goals with overall business objectives.
Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, with a strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in welding or heavy metal fabrication. - Lean Manufacturing: Proven experience utilizing Lean manufacturing methodologies, continuous improvement practices, or Six Sigma principles to optimize shop floor workflows.
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing P&L, budgeting, and utilizing financial metrics to drive operational decisions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to lead a diverse shop floor team and collaborate effectively with executive leadership, engineering, and sales.
