Quality Control Inspector

Position Quality Control Inspector – Amfab Bernalillo, NM.

Measure for dimensional requirements, hole placement and overall dimensions, squareness, flatness, etc., using appropriate tools.

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.

Monitor layout dimensions and verify locations, and monitor fitup of pieces for proper location using measuring equipment prior to welding.

Measure and perform visual inspection of weldments for final acceptance.

Perform various NDT inspections as required for compliance.

• Minimum (1) year welding experience (preferably).
• General math skills.
• Knowledge of various welding and fabrication processes, tools, and equipment (specify as needed).
• Ability to work long hours as needed.
• Able to lift 50-70 lbs as needed.
• Able to maintain and stay on schedule.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon passing an HPE (Human Performance Exam) that tests the capability of likely physical requirements of the specific position.
