- Support production operations across drying, freezing, wet and dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, and packaging processes.
- Safely start, operate, monitor, and make minor adjustments to production equipment while following all safety procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out requirements.
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, sanitation, material handling, and production support activities to maintain efficient operations.
- Complete quality checks, Critical Control Point (CCP) verifications, and follow GMPs and SOPs to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams and other departments, train new employees, communicate concerns, and promote accountability for safety, quality, and performance.
- Help achieve production goals by preparing for shift transitions, maintaining accurate records, and working overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of production experience or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Basic computer skills required; experience with ERP systems, scanners, or forklifts is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
- A consistent overnight schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:30p.m. to 7:00a.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Opportunities to develop production, equipment operation, food safety, and leadership skills.
- A hands‑on manufacturing role with responsibility for supporting safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations.
- Forklift training and certification opportunities for positions where certification is required.
- A production environment that may include hot, cold, humid, wet, dusty, noisy, or outdoor conditions, depending on the work area.
- Physical requirements that include standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, frequent bending and kneeling, using required PPE, and regularly lifting or handling materials weighing up to 50pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
