Responsible for daily operations and strategic initiatives at the Site, including environment, health & safety, production, planning, maintenance, warehousing, industrial projects, process improvement, quality and energy optimisation. The role targets safety excellence, regulatory compliance, productivity increases, equipment utilisation, cost optimisation and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure Environment & Health & Safety best‑in‑class standards are achieved across the site.
• Oversee all site operations—environment, health & safety, production, planning, maintenance, warehousing, industrial projects / capex, process improvement, quality, energy optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain on‑time, on‑quality production that meets cost objectives.
• Develop the site industrial plan in coordination with Operations Director, Business Area Centers of Excellence and other stakeholders.
• Lead site operations optimisation to improve competitiveness, including capex execution, flexibility, lead‑time reduction, productivity, energy consumption, maintenance and cost‑reduction programmes.
• Handle crude rationalisation and life‑of‑mine plan implementation with geological experts (excluding Sandersville).
• Coordinate with Hub Operations Director, Business Planning / Supply Chain, Centres of Excellence, Purchasing, BA Segments, Finance & HR partners.
• Ensure conformity to EHS audit and target criteria (BU / Plant Objectives).
• Target 95% equipment utilisation (cumulative scheduled / operational downtime).
• Target 95% performance efficiency (actual output / design output).
• Track consumable usage variances against flexible models.
• Maintain a 99% quality rate (defects & rework / total production).
• Achieve 95% on‑time delivery compliance as a customer‑service metric.
• Control production cost as a percentage of product revenue / fixed cost against budget/forecast.

• Recognised management skills, capable of leading teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of all operational aspects—safety, production, quality, process and capex.
• Proven ability to achieve cost reduction and productivity gains through continuous improvement mindsets.
• Excellent multitasking and crisis‑management abilities.
• Customer‑orientated mindset with a focus on service excellence.
• Strong talent attraction and development skills.

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
• Experience in a customer‑oriented organisation.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
