If so, Waterloo Region Community Foundation is looking for you to join our team as the Financial Services Coordinator.
Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF) is a registered charity and public foundation focused on Granting, Impact Investing, and Mobilizing to make measurable and sustainable impacts in Waterloo Region. As one of 208 Community Foundations across Canada, we enable people, companies, and organizations to do more good by making it easy for Fund holders and donors to give and invest, and for charities to receive money.
Gifts are directed to endowment-based funds held at WRCF, with the assets being pooled and invested in a way that is socially responsible without compromising financial returns. Today, WRCF manages an investment portfolio of approximately $179 million. Since 2017, WRCF has made 28 local impact investments totalling over $21 million. In 2025, we granted $7.6 million to 434 charities and nonprofit organizations, bringing our total granting impact to $96 million since inception.
As a leading community-building organization in Waterloo Region, we also work to amplify voices and issues of importance by convening conversations, sharing information, cultivating connections, and working with others to support initiatives that drive positive change. The Role
The Financial Services Coordinator is a full-time position within the Financial Services team. This role is primarily focused on timely and accurate transactional processing for both gifts received and payments from the organization.
