Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Prime Physicians is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a federal healthcare opportunity at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Providers may also be assigned to Thoreau or Pueblo Pintado Health Clinics based on operational needs.

Location:

Crownpoint, NM (including satellite clinics as needed)

• Typically between 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Weekends and holidays included
• Approximately 15–17 shifts per month
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license from any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum 2 years of NP experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Ambulatory Care
• BLS, ACLS, and AANP/FNP-C Certification Required
• Management of diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions
• Minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage (I&D)
• Triage and urgent care assessments
• Strong documentation and charting skills
• Experience with RPMS EMR preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Provide acute and chronic care in the Fast Track Emergency Department and outpatient clinics
• Perform minor procedures as needed
• Document patient encounters accurately in RPMS
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care
