Nursing Position in Long Term Care/Intermediate Care Facility
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Long Term Care/Intermediate Care Facility, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ healthcare needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ health status and document findings in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulations, and documentation standards.
- Float within the hospital and affiliate facilities as required, following Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid state RN license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
- Possess at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Point Click Care and Cerner charting systems.
- Be flexible to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts.
- Be willing to work some holidays and floating assignments.
- Provide two professional references upon request.
