Emergency Room Registered Nurse
This is a night shift position consisting of 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
This is a 13-week contract position.
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency room and/or critical care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have both clinical and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
- Assess and triage patients efficiently.
- Stabilize critical patients for transfer to higher-level care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time emergency room or critical care experience.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required; facility may assist in acquiring certifications.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
