  12 Hour Nights (United States of America)

• Provide patient‑centered perioperative care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
• Prioritize and coordinate care efficiently within a standards‑based framework to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to support effective surgical care delivery.
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and advocacy throughout the surgical experience.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment while ensuring appropriate use of time, resources, and clinical standards.

• Degree from an accredited nursing program required (programs under conditional status may be approved by System CNO).
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required for all RN roles (AHA, ASHI, or American Red Cross accepted).
• Additional certifications required based on clinical area:
  • ACLS: ED, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services (Pre‑Op & Recovery Room)
  • NRP:
    Family Birthing Center, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother/Baby
  • PALS:
    Pediatrics/Children’s Services, Cardiovascular Lab, ED, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services (Pre‑Op & Recovery Room)
