WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to support correctional facilities, delivering essential care to incarcerated populations. In this role, you will perform medication passes, vital signs, wound care, and patient assessments while documenting in EMR systems and collaborating with RNs, providers, and custody staff. You'll follow strict safety and infection-control protocols, respond to urgent medical needs, and help manage chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients in a correctional setting
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocol
• Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document care in EMR systems
• Assist with chronic disease management, wound care, and basic procedures
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations within scope of practice
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and custody staff to support patient care plans
• Maintain strict infection control, safety, and security protocols
• Accurately complete charting, incident reports, and medication records
• Participate in ongoing training and compliance with correctional healthcare standards
• Communicate professionally with interdisciplinary teams and support a respectful environment
