Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a critical access hospital requiring 2+ years of experience and NM or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required in hand before start (pending license not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (PALS may be obtained onsite within first week)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and wound care preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of an 18-bed critical access hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Uses Evident charting system
• No floating to affiliate hospitals required
• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients including respiratory, cardiac, and wound care support
• Scrubs of any color permitted
• No parking costs at this facility
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous travelers may return only after a 6+ month gap since their last assignment
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana use, including THC testing
