Role Description This full-time, on-site Nursing role is based in Casa Blanca, NM and focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient health status, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Nurses collaborate with physicians, other clinicians, and family members to develop and implement individualized care plans. The role involves educating patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care, while promoting safety, comfort, and dignity.

Nurses also participate in care coordination, respond to urgent health needs, and support quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN as required by role and state regulations).
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and basic nursing procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to accurately document patient information and follow clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in long-term care, community health, family services, or a similar care setting is preferred.
  • Capacity to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm and professional in urgent or emotionally sensitive situations.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive care and respect for diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
  • Basic computer skills for electronic health records and related documentation systems.
  • CPR/BLS certification and other relevant clinical certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent education, as required by state and organizational standards.
