Description

The Font of House Supervisor supports daily operations at 192, ensuring exceptional hospitality, seamless service execution, and consistent adherence to Food & Beverage standards. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, this position provides leadership and direction to servers, bartenders, hosts, and server assistants while maintaining a polished, guest-focused dining experience.

  • Complete opening and closing duties in accordance with departmental checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Supervise, support, and coach service staff by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, providing real-time feedback, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
  • Assist the General Manager with onboarding, training, and coaching staff while reinforcing established service standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, timing, and overall service execution to ensure consistency with restaurant standards.
  • Engage with guests throughout service, address concerns professionally, resolve service issues, and communicate guest feedback to appropriate management.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food menus, wine, beer, cocktails, spirits, and resort offerings to support staff development and enhance the guest experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order daily operating supplies, and communicate product or equipment needs to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency, team performance, and operational consistency.
  • Complete daily financial reports, shift notes, and other operational documentation accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, NM alcohol service laws, safety, and company policies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all aspects of each service position and be able and ready to provide support as business levels require.
  • Assist with special events in the restaurant as needed.
  • Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
  • Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
  • Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Food Handler Certification upon hire.
  • Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Alcohol Server Certification upon hire.
  • Minimum of 6+ months of restaurant experience and 6+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and productive manner while completing duties.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
