Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our customer model to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for appropriate patients. The role builds and maintains strong credibility with regional thought leaders, physicians, medical groups, and other stakeholders, and liaises with BMS functions to deliver an overall superior Customer Experience (Cx). The TAS is field‑based and will spend 100% of time with external customers, prioritizing safe use of BMS products while achieving business results and exemplifying BMS values.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications of BMS products in a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner, creating demand by articulating clinical and scientific rationale. Maintain expertise in assigned products/therapeutic areas, implement comprehensive territory plans, and use tools such as CE^3 to inform call plans and provide feedback for improvement.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved scientific resources to present accurate, evidence‑based information to HCPs. Conduct in‑office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns), organize speaker programs, track emerging data, and engage real‑time medical support through Medical on Call to address complex inquiries.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other field teams to ensure the best Cx for HCPs, sharing insights and information internally to better serve customers. - Compliance: Adhere to all laws, regulations, and BMS policies governing conduct.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or ≥5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
- Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
- Experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network.
- Preferred experience in cardiovascular.
- Proven account management skills, superior selling competencies, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Effective cross‑functional teamwork, positive mindset, and strong customer‑centric focus.

- Compensation: $124,090–$150,370 (US).
