Develops and executes a comprehensive, data‑driven sales strategy that maximizes total facility revenue, optimizes tee sheet utilization, and delivers a best‑in‑class guest experience consistent with our Member for a Day mission.
Salary RangeUSD 55,000 - 65,000 per year, plus commission and housing allowance.
Essential Duties- Directs and manages all group, tournament, leisure, and transient sales activities with a focus on maximizing total revenue, rate integrity, and profitability.
- Proactively call on targets/prospects, including resort sales contacts, local corporate, local charity contacts, events at other non‑Troon locales, wholesale partners, and other identified targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships for referrals through DMC Strategy, inviting prospective clients to the club for meetings and tours.
- Maintain and nurture wholesale partnerships with tour operators and key referral sources, including contract management and monthly check‑in calls.
- Establish relationships with at least five regional hotels/resorts for resort strategy, ensuring revenue generation in collaboration with concierge and sales personnel.
- Proactively generate new business through outbound sales efforts, relationship development, and networking within corporate, resort, and luxury travel segments. Set weekly goal of 50–100 outbound emails/calls.
- Develop and implement an annual sales and marketing plan, including monthly pacing strategies, segment mix optimization, and demand‑based pricing initiatives.
- Marketing oversight of key club communication tools:
- Email Marketing:
Execute monthly campaigns using facility platforms such as Golf Now Manage, including triggered campaigns (thank‑you, defector campaigns, etc.). - Website:
Update and maintain content, ensuring on‑brand presentation and seasonal alignment with campaign goals. - Social:
Execute organic social media posting and campaigns, striving for three posts per week per channel with authentic content.
- Email Marketing:
- Actively manage the tee sheet in partnership with Golf Operations to ensure optimal utilization, advanced booking pace, and yield management.
- Analyze competitive set, market trends, and assist Head Golf Professional in demand patterns to develop dynamic pricing strategies and group ceilings.
- Maintain and grow key accounts, ensuring high levels of client retention, repeat business, and exceptional service delivery.
- Execute Group Golf Contracts from initiation to completion.
- Lead all sales presentations, site tours, and client engagements with a focus on converting high‑value opportunities.
- Oversee CRM system management, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting of all sales activity.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, and Merchandising teams to maximize ancillary revenue opportunities.
- Establish, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and luxury service expectations.
- Create and lead ongoing training programs focused on sales effectiveness, service excellence, and product knowledge.
- Monitor business volume and adjust staffing, expenses, and sales strategies to align with demand and profitability goals.
- Ensure all client and guest interactions reflect the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Bachelor’s degree (BA) and one to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical DemandsFrequently talks and hears; regularly walks, stands, sits and uses hands; occasionally reaches with hands and arms; occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
Environment & NoiseOccasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences- Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties (e.g., communicate with English‑speaking customers or co‑workers).
