Supervise Detention Officers on the shift and oversee administrative and operational security activities;
Conduct inspections of housing and general use areas to ensure standards and procedures are maintained;
Ensure security and welfare of inmates/residents and adherence to key control procedures;
Direct staff and inmate resources to address problems and maintain security at all times;
Oversee internal and external security of the facility and monitor post assignments for alertness
