Pay From: $18 per hour

MUST:

• Experienced Cable Technicians Assistant Must have work experience
• Willing to learn CAT5e/6 and fiber optic cables and install
• Ability to work in small spaces
• Ability to lift 40+ Lbs. Must have hard hat and vest

DUTIES:

• Provide excellent customer service always
• Assist technician with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure
• Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic
• Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method
• Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards
• Ensuring all cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled
• Installation of cabling support components such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct
• Installation IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras, wireless, etc...
• Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational
• Troubleshoot device and or cabling issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations
