Electronics Technician III – ATC Communications Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintaining preventive maintenance on ATC radio systems and related equipment (CM-200/300 Ground to Air Radio, Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch (ETVS).
- Inspecting communication equipment at specified intervals determining operational status.
- Using specialized test equipment and software-controlled diagnostics to isolate malfunctions.
- Repairing of mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Tuning, aligning, and adjusting equipment.
- Schedule PMIs.
- Maintaining inspection and maintenance records.
- Independently verify operational condition of communication and integrated systems to be within prescribed parameters IAW applicable Technical Order/Manual or other supporting documentation.
- Repair and adjust communication and integrated system to pass recertification and periodic flight checks.
- Other duties as assigned.
