As a Foreman, you will be the first line supervisor with crew level responsibility for employees involved in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on any type of project. This is a safety sensitive position.

• Responsible for all CEC field trades on an electrical construction crew or project.
• Ability to supervise other employee's quality and productivity in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with other contractors and trades on site to ensure smooth workflow of projects.
• Lays out work for subordinate lead persons and is jointly responsible with the Project Manager for having material, tools, equipment, information, and appropriate manpower in the proper place in a timely fashion.
• Manages man-loading charts and writes schedules.
• Directs subordinate crew in installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switch gear, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations.
• Monitors work as performed, directs subordinate crews, and schedules work according to the pace of the job and other trades.
• May perform work being supervised for either production or instruction.
• Manages office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets, and safety reporting.
• Responsible for crew or project safety performance. Assures employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties to which assigned. Assures compliance with all CEC safety processes and protocols. Investigates or assists in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current Journeyman Electrician License (must be licensed in TX or reciprocal state as defined by TX licensing agency).
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Minimum 6 years' or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.

• Must have valid Driver's License and own reliable transportation.
• Must meet attendance standards and comply with late/absence notification procedures.
• Must be able to pass drug and background check.
• Travel up to 15% may be required based on company needs.
• Strong believer in safety.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The work environment is representative of typical heavy construction sites. May work inside or outside with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, rain, heat, cold, and snow. May work at extreme heights, in confined spaces, on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, in ditches and excavations, and in and around single and multi-story buildings. Employment requires safe access to construction areas under various conditions.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
• Lift 51 pounds routinely; constantly move about on the feet.
• Climb ladders of all types; work on ladders, scaffolds, and other elevated equipment.
• Complete full day assignments involving overhead work.
• Obtain access to construction work areas, including by OSHA approved site construction ladders or stairs, even if under construction.
• Secure tools and materials from storage areas to complete assigned tasks.
• Possess good vision, hearing, and ability to identify different colors of wiring.
• Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest) at all times.
• Work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, with possible overtime, weekends, and night shifts as required.
