Northern Regional Housing Authority is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Waitlist Manager to join our team. Position Overview

As a Waitlist Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting applicants through the housing process and ensuring compliance with housing program regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a commitment to serving the public with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process public housing applications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage assigned property waitlists in accordance with program requirements
  • Interview prospective applicants and determine public housing eligibility
  • Review, verify, and process applicant documentation promptly
  • Guide applicants through the public housing program, policies, and funding requirements
  • Maintain and update public housing applicant records and data systems
  • Schedule and conduct applicant appointments
  • Collect rent payments and tenant-related charges
  • Maintain accurate resident account records
  • Process repayment agreements, income updates, and applicable charges
  • Create and process work orders
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as well as perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills required
Compensation Full-Time Position

Salary is competitive and based on experience.
