Position Summary
  • Support student engagement and activities that promote student success;
  • Shop, stock, clean and inventory food and hygiene products for (both the Klauer campus and Rio Grande Hall) Thrive:
    Food and Resource Center and Safety Bins across campuses.
  • Outreach to students (in person, via phone/email or social media) on the resources available to them;
  • Understand and help students access resources on campus and in the community;
  • Research and maintain a current UNMT Resource Guide;
  • Host a table at events (campus and community based);
  • Help students access benefits or other eligible services;
  • Post flyers in the community and at Klauer and Rio Grande Hall. Maintain the bulletin boards in Padre Martinez Hall on Klauer campus;
  • Keep records and communication confidential for all students and their relations;
  • Answer phones and respond to emails when needed;
  • Participate in meetings and other campus activities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Enjoy connecting with students and community organizations;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass driving exam to use UNMT vehicles;
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 50lbs);
  • Must have good computer and communication skills;
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
