Summary of Position:

Incumbent is responsible to assist in all aspects of the operation of the WIC Direct Distribution Center. To include but not limited to;
Client confidentiality, issuance, inventory, food/supply replenishment, receiving and ordering of product, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all WIC Clients. Responsible for attending local, regional, and national WIC in-service /training including nutrition education, breastfeeding and other training needed to ensure adequate and efficient operation of the WIC Program.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED plus a minimum of one-year experience in WIC distribution or retail management; OR an equivalent, combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced computer skills i.e., Micro Soft Office.
  • Fluent in Kewa Keres language (Preferred).
  • Must have excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Must possess strong program leadership skills and abilities to manage program personnel and institute best professional practices.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Extended working hours, including weekends, may be required.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
