VFR Pilot, H125 Captain

Job Summary

PHI Health is seeking skilled and dedicated pilots to join our air ambulance team in Tucumcari, NM. In this role you will be at the forefront of life‑saving missions, delivering critical care with speed, precision, and unwavering commitment.

• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with Glidepath Operations Manual (GOM).
• Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero and other company safety campaigns.
• Work with both internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.
• Participate in community outreach programs.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment (lifting required).

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
• First‑Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours and 1,000 hours PIC on helicopters.
• Minimum of 500 hours on turbine helicopters and 100 hours in unaided night operations (or 50 unaided plus 100 NVG).
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to pass a pre‑placement physical exam including lifting 100pounds, drug screening and background check.
• Maximum body weight of 235pounds.
