Silver Star Logistics Inc. is currently seeking reliable and responsible Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a delivery driver, you'll play an essential role in delivering packages safely and on time while providing outstanding customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, navigating busy routes, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages

Load and unload packages

Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations

Verify package accuracy and ensure proper documentation for each delivery

Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating

Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and promptly communicate delays or issues

Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle

Report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately

Follow company policies, delivery procedures, and safety protocols

Represent the organization professionally at all times

Age 21 or older

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Prior courier experience is a plus

Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively

Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach

Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs., including bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of the delivery truck to the front door or access point of the delivery address
