About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator II to work at our waste disposal site in Aztec, NM. The role involves operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers and front‑end loaders for a waste management and recycling facility.

Starting salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Site: waste disposal facility in Aztec, NM.

Shifts:

multiple shifts available (day shift).

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, maintaining accurate records.
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Success in completing and passing a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

• Motor coordination with finger dexterity for most of the workday.
• Handling objects less than 30 lbs occasionally.
• May be exposed to cuts, burns, or toxic chemicals rarely.
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
• Normal setting: shop or field.
