Part-Time​/Per Diem Caregiver

Summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is looking for experienced Caregivers in New Milford. We are currently hiring for a variety of roles for Caregivers that are looking to work Part‑Time and Full‑Time hours. Our cases take place during the morning, afternoons, evenings and overnight. Caregivers should ideally have 3 plus years of experience, reliable transportation and a willingness to take iniative each day.

Our Non‑Medical Caregivers will report directly to the Staffing / Care Coordinator.

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

• Previous experience working as a Non‑Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
