Position: Autism Therapist - RBT/BT - Full-Time

Registered Behavior Technician - RBT/BT – Full‑Time

Location: Stamford, CT

Pay: RBT: $24.60 per hour, BT: $22.25 per hour (final compensation based on experience, training, and education)

Referrals: $500 bonus for an RBT, $5,000 bonus for a BCBA

What You'll Do Direct Client Support
  • Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Track progress and maintain quality standards.
  • Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

Support Operations
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
Requirements What We're Looking For Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
  • Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
Preferred
  • Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Prior exposure to ABA services.
Position‑Specific Items
  • Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40‑hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks, followed by precepting and pass the RBT exam within 45 days.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Maintain active certification in good standing; complete 1 week of paid training followed by precepting.
  • Training Availability (BT/RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
