Description

Responsible for routine, preventative, operational and emergency services relating to physical plant, adjacent buildings and facility-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Completes assigned work orders.
• Maintains life safety equipment in accordance with NFPA and prepares documentation.
• Documents file transport of all archive items (NON-H.I.M).
• Carries house pager and completes tasks.
• Documents and files all equipment manuals.
• Troubleshoots daily problems as needed.
• Moves offices and furniture.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required

Education:

HS Graduate / Equivalent.

Other Information:
Mechanical knowledge & basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC & plumbing systems. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Language, mathematical & reasoning ability.

Minimum Experience:

five years.

Desired:
Plant operation & maintenance experience. Knowledge of safety management. OE-2 preferred.

• Manual: significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity.
• Occupational:
  Significant occupational risk.
• Physical Effort:
  Very heavy effort, may exert up to 50 lbs. force.
• Physical Environment:
  Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
