Position Overview

New Milford Hospital, part of the Danbury Hospital Campus, seeks a Per Diem Chemotherapy Nursing Professional. The RN will provide professional care and assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The role requires collaboration with other health care team members and adherence to the nursing process.

• CT Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification.
• Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification.
• Minimum of 6 months of Oncology RN experience.
• BSN preferred; nursing certification preferred.

Type: Per Diem – Day 8, 8‑hour shift variable, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Location: 21 Elm St, New Milford, CT.
Department: Chemotherapy Center, NMH.

$58.50 per hour.

• Significant manual skills, motor coordination and finger dexterity required.
• Significant occupational risk and exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
• Very heavy effort may exert up to 50 lbs of force.
